Mode of Study

At Glory Academy, we believe that integrating both theory and practice in all our programs provides students with a more comprehensive education that prepares them for success in their chosen field.
Whether you are a nurse or teacher trainee large component of our studies will be a hands on industrial placement where you can practice your skills and attributes.
After successful completion of the course you will have the qualities required to become a qualified practitioner. As well as the type of qualification you will need to decide the mode of study that suits you and your circumstances best.
The more flexible you are able to be, the greater the choice of course you will have, as some courses may be available in only one study mode.

Some of our Students

Full time study

Full time and part time study is common for both taught and research postgraduate degrees, but what these terms mean can vary between universities, and even between courses and departments in a single university.

Part-time study

Part-time study can be ideal if you want to continue working, but not all part-time courses are timetabled to be taken in the evenings or on specific, regular days each week. For some courses, however, for example those offering a wide range of optional modules, it may be possible to timetable courses in this way.
If you are an international student, unless you are already living in the UK and are not dependent on your study to continue doing so, you may find you cannot get a visa to attend a part-time programme where study takes place for less than a specific number of hours each week.

Online and Distance Learning(ODL)

Primarily delivered through online learning, distance education allows you to study in your own time and space so that you can combine achieving a qualification with work or family commitments. Studying by distance learning has the benefit of allowing you to develop your career without having to leave employment.
It also means you can apply new knowledge and insights into your working life whilst you are still studying. Teaching for our distance learning courses is facilitated through our virtual learning environment Moodle, which can be accessed online from anywhere in the world.
